Todd is a full-time freelance writer and photographer specializing in literary and cultural travel.

His first two books, A Journey into the Transcendentalists' New England and A Journey into Ireland's Literary Revival, were published by Roaring Forties Press and have received favorable notices in the pages of Vanity Fair, The Boston Globe, the San Francisco Chronicle, the New England Watershed among other publications.

He has also recently been writing for National Geographic Traveler, Backpacker, Draft, and Gemut.com. He also writes a monthly column on literary road trips for Automotive Traveler.
